Do you have FOMO? (Fear of missing out) but also have have deadlines to meet the next morning? Don’t worry we’re on the same boat. When you also have other important stuff to balance such as your fitness goals, grades, work, etc, etc, etc it feels like there’s no break to be catched. It’s tiring which ends up with you losing balance with busy and fun.

Don’t you worry though, here are 7 best habits to implement in your life to make balancing busy with fun a little easier while maximizing productivity.

1. Start your day off early

Firstly, waking up early will give much more time to complete important tasks. In fact it’s the first 2-3 hours after you wake up that make up your day. Wake up an hour earlier than you usually do and watch your life change. This way you are balancing the busy first and than have fun later, or even having fun while being busy.

2. Make a fun to-do list

After waking up early, Make a to-do list. It can help you feel organized and not get distracted from what needs to be done. Best feeling is to cross off those accomplished tasks. GO YOU!

Having a to-do list can help with time management. (I can’t really start writing in my planner until June LOL, hence the blank spaces)

3. Spend time in nature it’s fun

Anything from watching the rain, sunrises sunsets, birds, etc can really awaken your mind and soul. You can end up getting really nice pictures to paint or make memories with friends. Spending time with nature can refresh a stressed out mind. Outdoors are the best! I encountered a little bunny on my walk outside.

4. TREAT yourself to a FUN night out

Instead of going out every night, I decided to go out as a treat for myself after accomplishing all my tasks and weekly goals. That way I feel relaxed, peaceful and organized. If I didn’t accomplish my tasks, I have to learn to say no. (This is such an old photo, kind of funny how I clubbed every weekend and yet couldn’t find a single photo LOL)

5. Learn to say NO

Previously said in number 4, “learn to say no” and it’s okay to say no. I literally always would say yes to everything but than I went through something which if I had said no I would be in peace but hey, somethings are meant to happen. I would rather choose peace than go into something I’m not feeling the vibe for and not have fun.

6. Declutter

I heard somewhere that if you have a messy workplace or a messy room, that’s how you internally feel. Declutter any mess, (even cleaning your computer desktop can help LOL) Make a busy life feel easy.

7. Try something new

Last but not least, try something new. You don’t need to be constantly busy ALL the time, give yourself a little break and try something new. Having fun is all about making memories. You can try giving a flower to a random stranger or go skinny dipping in the pool at the mall LOL (I am not encouraging anything, don’t do as I say) We have a big world out there, go explore, make new friends and have the best time ever.
